Schug 2019 Merlot, Rancho Salina

This wine has intense aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate. On the palate it is lush and offers rich dark fruit, spicy oak, hints of minerality and fine-grained tannins that give it a long and elegant texture and finish. It can be enjoyed on release and paired with barbecued meats and charcuterie, yet will reward cellaring for a decade or more.
