“CVR” stands for C’est Vin Rouge (“it’s red wine” in French), and this bottling is Quilceda Creek’s second-tier red blend — made from excellent estate fruit that didn’t go into their flagship Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s designed to offer very high quality at a somewhat more accessible price point, while still showcasing the house style.
