Jean-Claude Boisset Pommard 1er Cru “Les Arvelets” 2019 is an elegant and expressive Burgundy Pinot Noir from one of Pommard’s distinguished Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte de Beaune. The 2019 vintage offers a beautiful combination of ripe red and dark fruit, particularly cherry and blackberry, complemented by delicate notes of violet, spice, vanilla, and earthy undertones. On the palate, it is rich yet refined, with a silky texture, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and excellent balance, leading to a persistent and sophisticated finish. A wine with both character and finesse, it is enjoyable now but can also develop additional complexity with further bottle age. It pairs beautifully with roasted or grilled meats, beef, duck, game birds, Burgundy-style dishes, and aged cheeses.
