A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit Verdot, and 2% Merlot, the 2019 Novicium is only made with grapes from the Continuum estate. It is deep garnet-purple in color and delivers a knock-out nose of crème de cassis, blackberry preserves, and wild blueberries, followed by suggestions of Indian spices, camphor, rosemary, and red roses. Medium to full-bodied, with a firm and grainy texture, the palate delivers a generous amount of mouth-coating fruit, with seamless freshness and a spicy kick to the finish.
