The Don Q brand takes its name from the very famous novel "Don Quixote" by the writer Miguel Cervantes. The Serralles family produces rum according to the ancient family tradition. Sugarcane from its own plantations is used for production.
The Gran Reserva Añejo XO is a blend of different rums matured between 9 and 12 years maximum. Maturation takes place in American white oak barrels. An important component of this rum is a 50 year old rum that ages with the Solera Reserva process. The family's many years of experience makes Gran Añejo a very exclusive rum.
